Stella Brennan

is an Auckland-based artist, writer and curator. As Waikato University's
inaugural Digital Artist in Residence, she founded the Aotearoa Digital Arts
discsussion list in 2003, and has hosted two subsequent ADA meetings. Her
artwork is based in video and installation.
Recent works include an installation using i-tunes to create fake responsive
environments and a video attempting to create a Friedensreich
Hundertwasser-style village from pottery class throw-outs.
Stella teaches at the Auckland University of Technology. She is also
Freelance Art Writer (New Zealand Listener, Art Asia Pacific, Art New
Zealand, Pavement Magazine)
and Director of the George Fraser Gallery, Auckland University
